Great Weight Experiment Update
Well, I've been eating whatever I want for a week (though still staying away from stuff like pork and too much cheese)... Which has been interesting, because of all the leftover Halloween candy we had! Anyway, I still lost .8 pounds (to 158.8) over the past week, which is on par with what I had been doing. Maybe my body just needed a break from the low-fat, and knew that it needed to prove it would not pack the pounds right back on once it was getting its fat-fix.
I've been feeling really good about myself and my weight-loss progress lately. My wedding rings have been fitting pretty loose, and I found out that my ring finger is down to a size 4.5! (When Husband bought my engagement ring, I believe he bought size 4.25... And when I was hugely pregnant and newly post-partum, I was buying size 7 rings from Icing so I'd have something to wear.)
Anywho, that has been pretty cool... I still need to lose 9 more pounds to be in the "normal" BMI range, and another 5 to (probably) fit into my wedding dress again. Not that I'm going to really wear my wedding dress anywhere, but isn't that what most women dream of? To be able to fit into her wedding dress again? Also, when I was looking for a calculator to find out how much I needed to lose to be a normal BMI, I found one that told me I have lost 23% of my body mass since I started dieting in late January. I am about 3/4 of the woman I was at the beginning of the year.... Holy Hannah. I am awesome. (Everyone needs to hear that every now and then, even if it is just from yourself!)
