Hopping Back On The Wagon
Well, this has been a rather lengthy hop-skip-jump back into dieting. I decided before Thanksgiving that I had to diet again (I wasn't quite exercising… at all… That was mostly because my back felt like it was going to fall off.) I was going to restart tracking my foods Friday after Thanksgiving, but was having technical difficulties that just made tracking painful (my laptop refuses to turn on, and I had to switch back to my cracked-screen G1 so I could get my cracked-case myTouch Slide fixed). Plus, PIE. And stuffing. And 8 million other excuses, of course!
So, anyway. Back on track. I got my Slide back in the mail on Monday evening (ho boy, using the cracked-G1 for a few weeks really made me appreciate the Slide again!) and started recording again on Tuesday. I've kinda decided to ease myself back in the dieting waters—track for a while, try to make healthier portions and choices and see where that leads me. The few days I did track last week, I was over my Points goal by about 5 points each day. I'm considering joining Heir to Blair's McFatty Mondays—even though I've already got most of the way to my goal on my own, it will be fun to network a bit and see what's doing on. Blair is unbearably hilarious and real, so I'm a bit excited about maybe being on her radar!
A-hem… No more fan-girling… Back to the topic at hand…
I still haven't decided if I want to just stay under 160, or if I want to get all the way to 145 or 150. 149.6 is the upper limit of a "healthy" BMI for me… but 140 is what it says on my driver's license. I haven't decided if I'm going to switch to the "PointsPlus" system—I would have to completely retrain my brain as to what to look for, and I might have to actually go to a WW meeting (quelle horreur!). I haven't decided if I'm going to try (again) to work out (again) once my cold is gone (again). Sooo… We'll see how everything goes.
