How To: Butterfly Shower Decorations

The first thing I decided on was the pennant banner… I've seen these things everywhere, and they're so much fun! Again, I couldn't find what I was looking for in the store, so I altered one of the pennants that came with the software to be the shape I wanted. Here's the cut file:
The size of the holes works for 5/8 inch ribbon, but you can easily change it around. I fit these pennants on a 12x12" scrap paper cut down to 8x12", but you can also move them around and fit two on an 8-1/2x11". I bought two spools of ribbon that were 5/8" wide and 9' long, and with the spacing I did I fit 16 pennants on each ribbon (but I could probably have gotten one, maybe two, more on there). I cut out black letters (font: Lobster 1.4, size: 300) to attach, to the pennants with temporary adhesive, but got into a time crunch, and that didn't happen. Also, the picture up there was somewhat awful… But Sarah loves it so much anyways, that she said she's going to put it up in her nursery!

The tablecloths, plates, etc were gotten at various Dollar Stores and Target, in solid colors so I could go crazy with butterflies elsewhere, haha. As you can see, there are also a few other Silhouette projects I'll post later…
