I'm Looking Forward... And Something For You
(Looking forward means eating Lorna Doones for breakfast, right?)
I've been trying to step a tiny bit out of my comfort zone, and embracing trends before they're three years old. I did that with a chevron phone wallpaper (which I keep meaning to share with you, but now it's almost too late) and now I'm doing it again, with the One Word Resolution/Year Theme Thing.
I have to admit, I do like the idea of keeping one thing in mind throughout the year, and trying to find ways that it can be applied to different aspects of life. I chose "Forward."
(I will allow you to ignore the fact that there's no glass, and that the frame is held on the wall with those 3M tabs. I would have just put a nail in the wall, but I don't know where the electrical/gas is…)
I will be forward-thinking, and try to keep the house and finances under control this year. I will allow life to take me forward to a better place emotionally. I will remember that Monkey is always moving forward, and try to play with him and converse with him every chance I get, instead of getting frustrated that he's climbing on my lap when I'm trying to accomplish things. I'm looking forward to 2012, instead of back at 2011.

Also, I really enjoyed making this, and I'm rather proud of how I combined various layer effects to make the word look like that… And so here's the thing. I will make one for you, with your word resolution, or your name, or whatever you like! Just leave a comment with the word and a link to a picture (or a description, or pattern, and I'll see what I can do.) I'll work with you through the email you provide when you comment, and hopefully we can come up with something lovely! Since I do only have limited time, I'll only do this for five people (as if I have five readers, haha), but I may expand it later if I feel like it. Also, if you prefer not to leave a comment, you can email me at TheMamma@eclecticmamma.com. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
