I decided to join the throng of mommy bloggers in early October of 2010, and then copied over some posts from my personal blog for late September. A little background... I went to college and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science, and then went to work for an online education company, where I've been working for over four years. My husband Jeff has hit pause on his Electrical Engineering major to work for a large tech company doing pretty much exactly what he's best at. Nathan was born in September of '09 and, well, he's just stinkin clever! We also have two cats, Patrick and Roy (cookies for you if you know how those names relate to one of our favorite TV shows!), though I usually call Roy "The Beast." Patrick enjoys hanging out on top of things, and Roy enjoys running around with socks, harassing Pineapple the Cockatiel, and cuddles. Pineapple likes being loud while we're watching TV, and landing on the Wii's sensor bar.

I've got all kinds of random things to talk about, and maybe help you out a bit... Some topics you'll find on here are: parenting a two-and-a-half-year-old, cooking on a monetary and caloric budget, keeping up with a 115-year-old house, various types of crafting (beading, scrapbooking, decorating, digital stuff, etc.), couponing, losing weight, balancing home life and work life, and various little things that help my life run just a bit smoother.
